About the Event
Families Out Loud is a nonprofit family-building community and a traveling, two-day conference for anyone building a family through assisted reproduction — IVF, IUI, surrogacy, and egg, sperm, and embryo donation. Founded by Mike Snaric and George Moore from their own family-building journey, it brings intended parents, fertility experts, and advocates into the same room across six U.S. cities in 2026.
Each city follows the same arc: clear, jargon-free medical sessions in the morning; the real choices, costs, and ethics in the afternoon; and community all day. You’ll hear from reproductive endocrinologists, embryologists, attorneys, and navigators, meet trusted providers on the expo floor, and connect with other people who actually understand what you’re going through.
Families Out Loud was founded by Mike Snaric and George Moore, who built their own family through assisted reproduction. It’s a 501(c)(3) nonprofit family-building community focused on making the path to parenthood safer, more understood, and more openly supported.
No. Families Out Loud was born from an LGBTQ+ family-building story and that community is core to who we are — and the conference is built for every family and every route to parenthood. Single parents by choice, heterosexual couples facing infertility, LGBTQ+ families, and anyone exploring donation or surrogacy all belong here.
Tickets
One simple price: $40 for the full weekend. That’s it — no tiers, no upsells. Your ticket covers both days of the conference in your city.
Because we want everyone to get the whole experience. Every attendee gets the same full access to both days of sessions, the expo floor, and the community — no premium tiers, no one left out of the good parts. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, keeping it to one accessible price is part of how we make family building more open to everyone.
Both days of the conference: the cocktail party on the first evening from 6:00–8:00 PM, and the main conference day from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. That covers all sessions and panels, the full expo floor with our vetted providers, and the whole community experience. With proof of attendance, you’ll also be eligible for a 10% discount on most services from our sponsors.
Yes — $40 for the weekend in every city, so you can simply choose the city that’s easiest for you to get to.
Yes. Tickets are transferable, and refundable up to 30 days before the event.
Yes. With proof of attendance, you’re eligible for 10% off most services from the providers at Families Out Loud events. Any sponsor not offering this discount will be clearly indicated at the event, so you’ll always know what’s available to you.
We strongly encourage it — having your support people with you makes this process so much easier. Each person just needs their own $40 weekend ticket. Grab them together at checkout and come as a group.
Who Should Attend
Not at all. Many attendees come at the very beginning, before they’ve chosen a path or a provider. The conference is designed to help you understand your options in plain language so you can make decisions with confidence.
Yes. Beyond the medical basics, you’ll get the parts people rarely explain well — costs, ethics, legal considerations, donor and surrogacy logistics — plus a community of people on the same road and providers you may still need (legal, financing, support).
Bring someone if you can. This is a journey best taken with the people who support you, and we strongly encourage intended parents to bring friends and family — it makes the whole process easier when the people around you understand it too. Each person just needs their own $40 weekend ticket.
No. Families Out Loud is educational and community-focused. Our speakers share expertise and real experience, but the conference does not replace personalized medical, legal, or financial advice from your own providers.
At the Conference
The cocktail party runs from 6:00–8:00 PM on the first day, and the main conference event runs from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM the next day. Both are included in your weekend ticket.
Clear, jargon-free medical sessions in the morning (IVF & IUI, surrogacy, donation), the expo floor and lunch midday, and the choices, ethics, and real-family stories in the afternoon — with community woven through the whole day.
Not this year — sessions are in-person only for 2026. We plan to offer recordings in the future, but for now the experience is something you’ll want to be in the room for.
Trusted fertility clinics, surrogacy agencies, donor agencies, attorneys, financing partners, and support organizations — the vetted providers Families Out Loud partners with, in one place, so you can ask your questions face to face. (See the Sponsors page for the full list.)
Yes. All of our venues are ADA-compliant and accessible. If you have specific accommodation needs, email us before the event and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

Sponsors & Providers
Every sponsor at a Families Out Loud event is vetted against ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) and SEEDS ethics standards. That means the organizations you meet on our expo floor have been held to a recognized ethical bar — so you can explore your options knowing we stand behind who’s in the room.
Yes. With proof of attendance, you’re eligible for 10% off most services from our sponsors. Any sponsor not offering this discount will be clearly indicated at the event.
